Connect your Instagram account to Nanopixo

Publish property Reels directly from Nanopixo. The setup has two prerequisites on Instagram's side, then takes 60 seconds.

1

Switch Instagram to Business or Creator

Personal Instagram accounts cannot post through the API that Nanopixo uses. In the Instagram app, go to Settings, Account, and tap "Switch to professional account". Pick Business (recommended for agencies) or Creator.

2

Link Instagram to a Facebook Page

Instagram posting goes through Facebook's API, so your Instagram must be linked to a Facebook Page you manage. In the Instagram app, open Settings, Accounts Center, Accounts, and link Instagram to your agency's Facebook Page.

No Facebook Page yet? Follow the Connect Facebook guide first, then come back here.

3

Open Settings, Social accounts in Nanopixo

In Nanopixo, click your profile icon in the top right, open Settings, and go to the Social accounts tab.

4

Click Connect Instagram and authorize

Click Connect next to Instagram. You will authorize with your Facebook credentials (Instagram uses Facebook's login flow). Keep every permission checked. At the end, Nanopixo shows your Instagram Business account as connected.

5

Test with a Reel

Open any portrait (9:16) video you have created, click Share on social, pick Instagram, write a caption (or let Nanopixo generate one), and publish. Verify the Reel appears on your profile within a minute.

Troubleshooting

Instagram is greyed out when connecting.
Your account is not yet Business or Creator, or it is not linked to a Facebook Page. Go back to steps 1 and 2.

Reel fails to publish.
Check the video format. Instagram Reels require portrait (9:16), 3 to 90 seconds, and MP4. All Nanopixo portrait videos meet this.

"Cannot publish" error after months of use.
Instagram tokens expire. Reconnect from Settings, Social accounts.
